Who we are
This service is operated by AUTO LINKS KOREA, Seoul, Republic of Korea, business registration no. 215-02-47988 (“we”). “You” means the person or company that sends a request and pays our invoice.
Our service
We act as your buying agent for vehicles, machines and parts that you select on public Korean listing sites and send to us as a link. We do not process requests without a link, and we do not search for or recommend vehicles. We do not sell vehicles from our own stock. Our work covers the agreed Korean-side checks, purchase, export deregistration, export customs and shipping arrangements to the destination port you name.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that the vehicle can be imported and registered in your country, and you handle and pay for all destination-country clearance, duties, taxes, port charges, local transport, inspections and registration. You give us accurate information about yourself, the final importer and the end user.
Requests and start fee
A request is received only when you send it to us. We review it and send an invoice. Work starts after we confirm your payment. The start fee covers one listed vehicle: up to 2 attempts to reach the seller, up to 3 questions to the seller, review of the inspection record and registration information we can obtain, insurance history, lien check, one written report and one follow-up question about the report. The start fee is not a reservation and does not hold the vehicle.
Credit and refunds
If you approve the purchase of the same vehicle within 30 days of receiving the report, the start fee is credited to the agent fee. If we decline your request or cannot start the work, we refund the start fee in full. If our first contact with the seller shows the vehicle is already sold, you may send one replacement link within 7 days or receive a refund. After the report is delivered, the start fee is not refunded. Inspection fees are not refunded once the inspection has taken place. If a purchase contract with the seller is cancelled, costs follow the seller's contract terms and the costs actually incurred.
Reports and inspections
Reports separate what the documents confirm from what still needs checking. They describe the documents provided by the seller and what we could observe and measure on the day. They are not a warranty of condition. Hidden defects, later failures and errors in the seller's inspection record are outside our control.
Purchase
We buy only after you approve in writing the VIN and the final cost, and after your payment of the car price and the rest of the agent fee has reached our account. If the seller withdraws or changes the price before we buy, we tell you, and you may approve the new price or receive a full refund of the car price.
Payments
All payments are made by invoice to the company account of AUTO LINKS KOREA in US dollars. Payments are made by bank transfer (T/T); bank and transfer charges are paid by the sender, and a shortfall caused by bank charges is added to the next invoice. We send bank details only on our invoice; if you receive different account details, contact us before paying. We do not accept payments from third parties on your behalf, and we never ask you to pay a seller or another company directly.
Shipping and risk
We book shipping with carriers on your behalf. Sailing dates and transit times are set by the carriers. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the vehicle is handed to the carrier at the Korean port. Marine insurance is recommended and can be arranged at your cost on request.
Export controls and sanctions
We follow Korean export-control and international sanctions rules. We may ask for identity, company and end-user documents at any stage, and we may refuse or cancel a request, before or after payment, if a transaction may breach these rules. In that case we refund amounts not yet spent, minus payment charges.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for a request is limited to the fees you paid us for that request. We are not liable for indirect losses, changes in destination-country rules, carrier delays or events outside our control.
Communication
Vehicle-specific checks and consultation begin after payment of the start fee. We reply by WhatsApp or email during Korean business hours.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are submitted to the Seoul Central District Court.
